The Báðarlaug is a small lake on the Snæfellsnes peninsula in western Iceland .
The lake is named after Bárður Snæfellsás , who is said to have bathed in this maar and lived in Sönghellir. It is located together with a Laugarvatn in a nature reserve that was established in 1981. The location is south of Útnesvegurs, road 574, and west of the road to Hellnar .
