Bärbel Frischmann

Bärbel Frischmann (* 1960 in Thuringia ) is a German philosopher and professor for the history of philosophy at the Philosophical Faculty of the University of Erfurt .

Life

After studying philosophy at the HU Berlin , Bärbel Frischmann received his doctorate from the University of Jena in 1988 . The habilitation took place in 2002 at the University of Bremen . Bärbel Frischmann has held the professorship for the history of philosophy at the University of Erfurt since 2009.

Research priorities

Frischmann deals, among other things, with the philosophy of German idealism and early romanticism , existential philosophy , Friedrich Nietzsche , Martin Heidegger , postmodern philosophy and deconstruction, cultural philosophy , aesthetics, irony, social philosophy and political philosophy .
