Bear claws

Bear claws (also called bear paws , ox mouths or cow mouths ) are typical shoes of the early modern period ( 16th century ).

The bear's claws emerged from the duckbills, these in turn from the pointed sneakers .

They have wide soles , are barely a finger's breadth on the side and back and have a sack that is slit and puffed several times on the front .
