Béla Bodó
Béla Bodó (* 1963 ) is a Hungarian historian.
Life
He earned a BA from Lajos Kossuth University in Debrecen in 1988 , an HBA from the University of Toronto in 1990 , an MA from York University in 1992 and a Ph.D. at York University with Michael H. Kater , Irmgard Steinisch and William D. Irvine . From 2000 to 2002 he taught as an associate professor at the University of Oklahoma . From 2002 to 2004, he taught as an assistant professor at the University of South Florida . From 2004 to 2006 he was an assistant professor at Grand Valley State University . From 2007 to 2008 he was an associate professor at California State University . From 2008 to 2011 he was an associate professor at Missouri State University . From 2011 to 2015 he was a full professor at Missouri State University. Since 2015 he has been an academic senior councilor at the University of Bonn .
His research interests are political and domestic violence in the interwar period in Eastern and Central Europe, European right-wing radicalism in the interwar period, the history of Hungary, 1918–1945, and anti-Semitism / Holocaust.
