Oscar Börje Leander (born March 7, 1918 in Avesta , † October 30, 2003 in Mora ) was a Swedish football player .
Career
Leander played for Dalängens FK , IK Sport , Solnapojkarna and Vasalunds IF until 1938 . Then he went to AIK Solna . Until 1953 he played for the club and played 249 games in the Allsvenskan , in which he scored 25 goals. In 1949 and 1950 he was a cup winner . After relegation to Division 2 in 1951, he remained loyal to the club and managed to get promoted again with the team.
Between 1941 and 1950 he wore the Swedish national team's jersey 23 times . He scored four international goals, all from penalties . With the national selection, he won the gold medal at the 1948 Olympic Games .
