The library in the station is on two floors in the building of the Veitshöchheim station . This was built in 1855 and is a listed building. The library is an institution of the municipality of Veitshöchheim . It employs three people. The inventory comprises around 26,000 loanable media, including books, magazines, CDs, CD-ROMs, games and DVDs.
Nine computers are available in the library for internet research. The library also offers daily newspapers, exhibitions and events. It is possible to order media that are not part of the library's holdings via interlibrary loan .
Media are also delivered and picked up again so that people unable to visit the library have access to the holdings.
