Błażej Dowlasz

Błażej Dowlasz (born May 29, 1978 in Łódź , Poland ) is a composer, pianist and sound artist, mainly in the field of contemporary electroacoustic music .

biography

From 1997 to 1999 piano studies at the Katowice Music Academy , Poland. From 1999 to 2002 piano studies and from 2002 to 2007 composition studies at the F. Liszt University of Music in Weimar .

Artistic work

From 1995 to 2000 active as a musician and composer in the fields of jazz, theater music and contemporary music. Since 2000 he has been mainly concerned with contemporary electroacoustic music and sound art . He is also active as a curator and promoter of electroacoustic music, e.g. B. in eaSoundArt eV

Works

His works are regularly performed in Europe. a. in Germany, France, Sweden, Poland and were broadcast on the radio. His ouvre includes over 40 original compositions.
