The BBC Television Center was the headquarters of BBC television in London until March 31, 2013 .

The building complex in the White City district was built in the 1950s according to plans by the architect Graham Dawbarn and opened in 1960. The now listed ensemble has a circular main building ("Main Block") around which other studio and office buildings are clustered. Almost all BBC formats were produced in the 15 television studios from 65 m² to 995 m², including news channels such as BBC News or series such as Doctor Who or formerly Fawlty Towers .

The closest London Underground station is Wood Lane .
