The Bund Deutscher Karneval-Jugend ( BDK-Jugend ) is the umbrella organization of 35 carnival youth and state associations in the Bund Deutscher Karneval e. V. with around 700,000 members. It represents the interests of children, adolescents and young adults in politics, culture and society.

The Bund Deutscher Karneval-Jugend is a non-profit, non-partisan and non-denominational umbrella organization that is active in the field of cultural and political youth work.

structure

The BDK-Jugend is an independent youth association that operates across Germany. It is divided into state and city associations, which correspond to the state and city associations of the Federation of German Carnival . He takes on the active youth work for the Bund Deutscher Karneval. In order to be able to guarantee this, the chairperson is represented in the BDK presidium by the statutes of the BDK and youth regulations of the BDK youth.

tasks

  • Promotion and maintenance of youth work within the Mardi Gras, Mardi Gras and Carnival clubs
  • Education and training of youth officers
  • Representation of the interests of children and young people in relation to association boards, politics and other institutions

Germany’s carnival youth is called on all year round to donate blood on donation dates all year round, or to be tested for a bone marrow transplant.
