The BFC Burgundy in 1896 was a short-lived football club based in Berlin . He was one of the 86 founding clubs of the German Football Association .

history

The BFC Burgundy was founded in 1896 and joined the Verband Deutscher Ballspielvereine (VDB), but did not reach its top division. At the founding meeting of the German Football Association, he was represented by VDB chairman Fritz Boxhammer . On March 25, 1903, the BFC Burgundy merged with the BFC Phönix , which also belonged to the VDB, to form Berliner FC Deutschland . Nothing is known about its further history.
