The BFC Phönix was a football club from Berlin . He was one of the 86 founding clubs of the German Football Association .

history

The BFC Phönix was founded in 1893 and played in the second class of the German Football and Cricket Federation (DFuCB) in 1893/94 . Later he joined the Association of German Ball Game Clubs (VDB), but did not reach its top division. At the founding meeting of the German Football Association, he was represented by VDB chairman Fritz Boxhammer . On March 25, 1903, the BFC Phönix merged with the BFC Burgund 1896 , which also belonged to the VDB, to form Berliner FC Deutschland . Nothing is known about its further history.
