The BFC Nordiska 1913 was a German soccer club from Berlin that existed from 1913 to 1933.
history
BFC Nordiska Berlin was founded in 1913. During the time of its existence, the club acted for the most part in the championship of the Workers 'Gymnastics and Sports Association and, along with Sparta 11 Berlin, was one of the strongest workers' clubs in Berlin. While Sparta Berlin made it to the finals twice in the championship of red sports , Nordiska managed to do so in the 1920/21 season at the ATSB. After victories in the quarter- and semi-finals over the teams from FT Breslau-Süd and FT Unterweser , the Berliners moved into the final of the ATSB, but were clearly defeated by the Saxon favorites VfL Leipzig Stötteritz with 0: 3. In the period that followed, BFC Nordiska no longer played a role in workers' football, but from Berlin's point of view, SC Adler Pankow still made it into the finals .
When the National Socialists came to power, the BFC Nordiska was dissolved in 1933. In 1945 a re-establishment was rejected, the remnants of the former workers' association joined SG Nordost , which later became part of MSV Normannia 08 .
