Medical trainings therapy

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The term medical training therapy refers to targeted physical training under physiotherapeutic supervision for the purpose of rehabilitation after injuries or for the treatment of illnesses .

requirements

The prerequisite for using medical training therapy is the corresponding medical indication . Another essential feature of medical training therapy is that it must be carried out under direct medical supervision (on-call service is insufficient). Parts of the treatment can be delegated to specially trained staff (e.g. physiotherapists , sports scientists, gymnastics teachers ).

to form

This area includes sports therapeutic training concepts such as the Medical Strengthening Therapy of the Society for Medical Strengthening Therapy, MedX Therapy and the training concept of the Research and Prevention Center (FPZ) Cologne. Medical training therapy - like manual medicine - places stress stimuli on the entire organism. Rolf Gustavsen made particular contributions to the development of a branch of medical training therapy.
