The BHAK / BHAS Vienna 12 is a Federal Trade Academy and Federal Trade School in Meidling in Vienna .
history
The building was built around the turn of the century. An elementary school was housed until the 1970s. After that, a new building was erected and the Federal Trade Academy and Federal Trade School Vienna 12 was founded. A few years later the school was expanded with an extension in the basement of which four classes were accommodated and a large gymnasium on the upper floor.
Architecture and buildings
There are more than 60 classrooms with a PC and internet connection and an OH projector each, a schoolyard (for the smokers) with a chestnut tree, hudriwudri, a buffet and a seminar room. The seminar room is a modern conference room with the latest technical equipment (workstations with LC display, video projector, air conditioning, flat screen TV), which is used for student presentations, projects and for the oral diploma and final oral exams.
Educational work, equipment and offers
More than 1,600 students are currently studying and about 160 teachers are teaching. In 2018 the school was awarded the Austrian School Prize.
