The BNP Paribas (Suisse) SA is a Swiss bank based in Geneva . It was founded in 1872 and is a subsidiary of the French BNP Paribas . The bank's core business is asset management for private customers and raw material financing for companies.
The institute employs more than 1,800 people and at the end of 2011 had total assets of 33.8 billion Swiss francs and client assets of 37.4 billion francs. In addition to its Geneva headquarters, the bank has offices in Basel, Lugano and Zurich. In terms of total assets, it is the second largest foreign-controlled bank in Switzerland.
