BSG Osram Berlin

BSG Osram Berlin is a former sports club from Berlin, whose table tennis department was one of the strongest in Germany. It was named after the Osram company . It is a forerunner of today's SG NARVA Berlin .

Table tennis

Before the Second World War , the women became German team champions in table tennis three times in a row from 1936 to 1938:

In the 1938/39 season they lost the final against Post SV Wien and were runner-up.

The men's team won the German championship in 1935/36 with the line-up of Hans Kiack, Götz Meschede , Heine, Wegener, Neuen and Wehners.

(Field) handball

The men's field handball team played in the Gauliga Berlin-Brandenburg for several years.
