BSG Umformtechnik Erfurt

The BSG Umformtechnik Erfurt was a company sports association in Erfurt . The carrier company was the Combine Umformtechnik Erfurt. Sections of the BSG were among other things football and handball . The greatest success of the handball department of BSG Umformtechnik Erfurt was the women's victory in the FDGB Cup , in the handball cup of the GDR , in 1975. In 1990 the company sports association was dissolved and the SSV UT Erfurt was founded in its place. The further development of the handball players led to the establishment of the Thuringian HC , the soccer players to the establishment of the FC Erfurt Nord .
