The civil servant self-help work , BSW for short (also: BSW. The advantage for the public service ; formerly: BSW. The BonusClub ) is a German customer loyalty program .

history

The company, founded in 1960 by customs officers in Hamburg , is one of the oldest nationwide bonus systems . From the joint purchase of heating material, the civil servant self-help system developed with the aim of opening up purchase discounts for members - civil servants and public employees. The seat of the main administration is in Bayreuth .

membership

Participation in the BSW is chargeable; there is an admission fee and an annual membership fee.

When purchasing from a BSW partner company, the turnover is recorded via the membership card and the bonus referred to as the "benefit" is credited to the member account. In this way, the customer receives percentage discounts when purchasing from partner companies.

The BSW is a member-financed system in the form of a registered association (BSW e.V.).

The technical operation of the VVS group of companies, BSW Consumer Service GmbH . BSW and Allgemeine Verwaltungs- und Service GmbH (AVS) manage 5 million customer cards under the umbrella of VVS Holding GmbH (VVS) . Examples: Kurier € ard, Discovery Pass for the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region. A total of 212 people are employed in the VVS.
