The Baba Ghassem Mausoleum ( Persian آرامگاه باباقاسم, ɑɾɑmɡɑh ɛ bɑbɑ ɢɑsɛm ) is a historic mausoleum in Isfahan , Iran . The mausoleum dates back to the 14th century and is known for its beautiful mihrab and dome . It is located north of the Isfahan Friday Mosque . During the Safavid era, some repairs and changes were made to the mausoleum.

Baba Ghassem was a well-known Faqih in Isfahan. One of his followers built the Emamieh School for him when Baba Ghassem was still alive. After his death he built the mausoleum for him. The tomb shows decorative bricks and ceramic tiles . The dome of the mausoleum is pyramidal . In the past, the mausoleum was venerated in such a way that the residents swore oaths on it to prove the truth. On the lower part of the dome was the Bannai - writing one of the names of Allah written.
