Babango (also Mobango) is a Bantu language and is spoken by around 2550 people in the Democratic Republic of the Congo . It is widespread in the Tshopo province around Basoko .
classification
Babango forms the Lusengo group with the languages Bangala , Boloki , Budza , Lingála , Lusengo and Ndolo and belongs to Guthrie zone C40. It is related to the Budza language.
