Backchecking
Backchecking is a term used in ice hockey . This means the rapid switching of strikers who have attacked and lost the puck . To support the defenders , these strikers come back in front of their own goal to keep the opposing team from scoring goals.
A deviation from this is the fore-checking , in which the opposing team is disturbed in front of their own defense zone.
