Baconao
The Baconao Park is an extensive park landscape, which is located approximately 20 km east of the city of Santiago de Cuba and covers an area of 923.60 km². In 1987, the area became a UNESCO - Biosphere Reserve declared.

The park is full of attractions such as: B. Shelters for wild animals or coffee plantations.
Big stone ( Gran Piedra )
The Great Stone is a large rock of volcanic origin with dimensions of 51 meters in length, 25 meters in height and 30 meters in width. It is estimated to weigh more than 63,000 tons. It is accessible via 459 stone steps and the summit is 1234 meters above sea level .
Prehistoric valley
In the Prehistoric Valley there are life-size models of dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures, which are sculptures made of reinforced concrete in the park landscape.
Farm (Granjita Siboney)
This is where the attackers led by Fidel Castro on the Moncada barracks spent the night before the attack on July 26, 1953.
Botanical Garden
There is a 0.45 km² garden, the so-called Jardín Botánico “Ave del Paraíso” (German: Botanical Garden “Bird of Paradise” ), laid out around 1890 on a former coffee plantation. It offers a series of color-coded gardens, each with unique scents and views.
Vehicle history museum
Shows over 2500 miniaturized, true-to-scale replicas of vehicles.
Aquarium
The aquarium is 30 meters deep and has an underwater tunnel and a dolphinarium .
Baconao Lagoon
The lagoon has an area of 4 km². There is also a replica of a Taíno village and a restaurant specializing in seafood.
