The Bad Blog of Musick is a blog founded by the composer Moritz Eggert and hosted by the new musikzeitung . In addition to Moritz Eggert, the composer Alexander Strauch , the dramaturge and composer Arno Lücker , the composer Julia Mihály and the dramaturge Patrick Hahn write regularly about current music events. There are also guest contributions. The blog is subordinate to the new music newspaper , but there is no editorial support.

The Bad Blog sees itself as a debate platform and is characterized by a particularly pointed to satirical tone of language.

By its own account, it is the most widely read blog on contemporary music.
