Badachu ( Chinese  八大处 , Pinyin bādàchǔ ; also known as Badachu Park) is a remote mountain park on the western outskirts of Beijing .

history

The complex consists of eight Buddhist temples from the Ming (明朝, 1368–1644) and Qing times (清朝, 1644–1911). The center of the park is the Lingguangsi (灵光寺), a pagoda temple, which has wall reliefs worth seeing next to the large pagoda. In addition to temples and arbors, the park also features rare old trees, some of which are over 6 centuries old. A cable car leads from the park to the top of the hill.
