Badara Joof

Badara Alieu Joof (* 20th century) is a politician in the West African state of Gambia . Since February 2017 he has been Minister of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology in the Adama Barrow cabinet .

Life

Joof went to Armitage High School and got a Masters Degree in English Literature from the University of London . The PhD Joof worked at the World Bank in 2013. On February 22, 2017, the newly elected President Adama Barrow appointed Joof to his cabinet as Minister of Education, Research, Science and Technology.
