Adama Barrow's cabinet
The Adama Barrow Cabinet was established in The Gambia on February 1, 2017 by President Adama Barrow .
It replaced Yahya Jammeh's cabinet from President Yahya Jammeh , who was both head of state and head of government from July 22, 1994 to January 19, 2017.
Cabinet members
The cabinet is composed of the President of the Republic, the Vice-President, the Secretary General and Head of the Public Service and several ministers.
By 28 February 2019 gave the Ministry of affairs of women ( Ministry of Women's Affairs ) (under Fatoumata Tambajang and Ousainou Darboe) and the Ministry of Health and Welfare ( Ministry of Health and Social Welfare ) were restructured. As of March 1, 2019 leads Fatou Sanyang Kinteh the Minister for Affairs of Women, Children and Social Welfare ( Ministry for Women Affairs, Children, and Social Welfare ).
A Minister of Defense was appointed for the first time on August 22, 2019.
