Akufo-Addo's cabinet
The Akufo-Addo cabinet is the eighth government cabinet of the fourth republic of Ghana . After winning the presidential election in December 2016, Nana Akufo-Addo was sworn in as president of the country on January 7, 2017. According to Article 76, Paragraph 1 of the Constitution , the Cabinet consists of a minimum of ten and a maximum of 19 state ministers in addition to the President and the Vice-President. There are also non-cabinet ministers and regional ministers , who are represented by deputy ministers .

The 36 ministers were sworn in on January 27, February 7 and 10, 2017, and on May 30, 2017 President Akufo-Addo announced the 19 ministers who would join his cabinet. The first cabinet reshuffle took place on August 9, 2018.
