Geingob had announced a significantly reduced cabinet at the beginning of January 2020. The cabinet in the previous legislature consisted of 26 ministries. With Utjiua Muinjangue , an opposition politician was considered for the first time. The President of the National Unity Democratic Organization of Namibia (NUDO) is Vice Minister of Health.
