The Ministry of Works and Transport ( english Ministry of Works and Transport ) is the Ministry of Transport of Namibia .

The ministry has been headed by Minister John Mutorwa since February 2018 .

Tasks and structure

The Ministry's tasks are to develop legislation and regulations as well as to develop and maintain the public transport infrastructure . In addition, state property , particularly in the form of real estate , is administered.

Government flights

The Department of Government Air Service is responsible for the operation and administration of the presidential aircraft Falcon 900B , a Learjet 31A and the helicopters designed for regional transport ( AW139 , AS350B ). It is divided into the following directorates:
