The Namibia Airports Company (NAC) has been operating eight of the largest airports in Namibia since 1998 . As a 100% state-owned company, it is subordinate to the Ministry of Public Works and Transport . The NAC is a member of the most important international airport organizations such as the Airports Council International (ACI).

Between 2010 and 2015 NAC wanted to invest more than 1.2 billion Namibia dollars in the expansion of the airports. [outdated]
