The Ministry of poverty reduction and social welfare ( MPESW ; English Ministry of Poverty Eradication and Social Welfare ) was between 2015 and 2020, the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Social Welfare of Namibia . It emerged in part from the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and was merged with the Ministry of Equality and Child Welfare under the Presidential Office in March 2020 .

The Ministry was created with the establishment of the Geingob I cabinet on March 21, 2015. Minister was Bishop i. R. Zephania Kameeta , his deputies were Pastor Aino Kapewangolo and Priscilla Beukes . Since March 23, 2020, Doreen Sioka has been in charge of official business as Minister of the President.
