Nujoma I cabinet

The Nujoma I cabinet designates the first government of Namibia under President Samuel Nujoma , which was formed on March 21, 1990 and formed the government until March 21, 1995. The Nujoma I cabinet was replaced by the Nujoma II cabinet in 1995 . The government consisted of members of the ruling SWAPO party, which had a 3/4 majority in the National Assembly in the 1989 parliamentary elections in Namibia .

The cabinet consisted of the President , the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister and the ministers appointed by the President. The Prime Minister is the head of government and first adviser to the President, and coordinates all government agencies, ministries and other government agencies.
