Namibian government
Since 1990, there Namibian government ( english Government of the Republic of Namibia ) from the President , the Vice President (for the first time since March 21, 2015), the Prime Minister , the Deputy Prime Minister and appointed by the President of Ministers and the Attorney-General .
Every minister also needs the confidence of the National Assembly ; if a minister does not receive it, the president must dismiss him. This means that the ministers are accountable to both the President and the National Assembly. The Namibian constitution expressly emphasizes this dual dependency.
The prime minister is the head of government and first advisor to the president and coordinates all government agencies, ministries and other government agencies.
Until 2008 the government had its seat in the old State House in the district of Windhoek-central in the Namibian capital Windhoek . In 2008/09 the move to the new State House in Windhoek-Auasblick took place.

The governments and the president begin their work on Independence Day , ie on March 21st of the year following the last parliamentary and presidential elections . The first women were elevated to the four highest positions in the state on March 21, 2015.
