Peya Mushelenga

Peya Mushelenga (* 1. September 1975 in Oshigambo , South West Africa ) is a Namibian politician of SWAPO .

Mushelenga has been Minister for Information and Communication Technology in the Geingob II cabinet since March 23, 2020 . Previously, he had been a minister at the Ministry of Urban and Rural Development in the Geingob I cabinet since February 8, 2018 . Prior to that, Mushelenga was Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for eight years .

Mushelenga was chairman of the Namibia National Students Organization .

Mushelenga is a highly educated politician. He holds, among other things since 2018 an MBA of esami Business School , an LLM of the UNAM in 2017, a BA inn economics of OUT ( Tanzania , 2017) and a doctorate in literature and philosophy of UNISA . In addition, Mushelenga received his LLB Honors from UNAM in 2014 and a B. Juris in 2011 . In 2009 he received an MA in International Politics from UNISA. In 1997 he successfully completed his BA in International Politics at UNISA, two years earlier he received a BA in History and Political Science from UNAM.
