Alpheus ǃNaruseb

Alpheus ǀGou-ǃna ǃNaruseb (born March 20, 1954 in Usakos , South West Africa ) is a Namibian politician from SWAPO .

From 2015 to February 2018 he was Minister in the Ministry of Public Works and Transport in the Geingob I cabinet . He then held the post of Minister for Agriculture, Water and Forestry until March 2020 .

Career

ǃNaruseb attended Martin Luther High School in Okombahe from 1970 to 1975 . He studied law at the University of Namibia .

ǃNaruseb joined the SWAPO party in 1975 . In the late 1980s he served on the internal party committee for economics. In 1991 he became a member of the SWAPO Central Committee and has served in the National Assembly since 1995.

In 1997, ǃNaruseb became Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources and in 2003 moved to the Ministry of Justice in the same position . In 2005 he became Minister in the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare in 2008! Naruseb Minister for Lands and Resettlement .
