Willem Konjore

Willem Konjore (born July 30, 1945 in Kais , South West Africa , today Namibia ) is a Namibian politician of SWAPO and former minister .

Konjore was Namibia's Environment Minister in the Pohamba I cabinet between 2005 and 2008 . This was followed by the ministerial post in the Ministry of Youth, National Services and Sport until 2010 . He was a member of the Constituent Assembly of Namibia in 1989 and has been a member of the Namibian National Assembly since 1990 .
