Philemon Malima

Philemon N. Malima (born July 9, 1946 in Omandongo , South West Africa ) is a Namibian politician of the SWAPO . He has been the head of the Namibian secret service since June 2015 .

Malima held numerous ministerial posts. He was first defense minister in the Nujoma II cabinet from 1995 to 1997 and then until 2005, from 2000 in the Nujoma III cabinet , Minister for Environment and Tourism . He was a member of the National Assembly from 1990 to 2005 .

Malima has been holding a diploma from the Institute of Political Science of the Soviet Union since 1981 .
