Albert Kawana

Albert Kawana (born March 26, 1956 in South West Africa ) is a Namibian politician of the SWAPO and minister.

Kawana has been Namibia's Minister of Fisheries since March 23, 2020 . He has held the office on an interim basis since November 13, 2019. Previously, as from 2003 to 2005, Kawana was Minister of Justice from 2015 to 2018 . From 2018 to 2020 he was also Attorney-General .

From 2005 to 2015, Kawana was Minister for Presidential Affairs . He has degrees in law and public administration .
