Yvonne Dausab

Yvonne Dausab (* 1974 or 1975 in Windhoek , South West Africa ) is a Namibian politician for SWAPO . She has been Minister of Justice since March 23, 2020 . Prior to that, she was Chair of the Law Reform and Development Commission since 2015 .

Dausab holds a Bachelor in Law of the University of the Western Cape in South Africa and an LL.M. of the University of Pretoria . She was admitted to the bar in the High Court in 2000 and a notary public since 2015 .

Until 2014 Dausab worked as a program spokesman for television. Dausab was also a visiting lecturer at the University of Namibia .
