Stanley Mutumba Simataa (* 5. June 1960 in Sikanjambuka , South West Africa ) is a Namibian politician of SWAPO .

He was last Minister for Information and Communication Technology from February 8, 2018 to March 2020 . Simataa has been a member of the Namibian National Assembly since 2010 . He resigned on March 26, 2020, without giving a reason, after just a few days of the new legislative period from his mandate.

Simataa holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in agricultural education from colleges in South Africa , the United Kingdom and Tanzania . He mainly worked as a teacher and school principal , later also as State Secretary and Deputy Minister in various ministries.
