Rosalia Nghidinwa

Rosalia Annette Nghidinwa (born October 26, 1952 in Nkurenkuru , South West Africa ; † January 14, 2018 or January 15, 2018 in Windhoek ) was a Namibian politician and a member of SWAPO . She was most recently Minister in the Ministry of Equality and Child Welfare from December 2012 to March 2015 .

Life

From 2000 to 2005, Nghidinwa was a member of the Nujoma III cabinet as Vice Minister of Labor . From 2005 to 2012 she was Namibian Minister of the Interior in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Immigration . She was also a member of the National Assembly of Namibia since 2000 .

Nghidinwa was married to Sam Nghidinwa until his sudden death in February 2009.
