Lamin Jobe

Lamin Jobe (* 1967 or 1968 in Sukuta ) is a politician in the West African state of Gambia . Since March 2019 he has been Minister of Trade, Regional Integration and Employment in the Adama Barrow cabinet .

Life

Lamin Jobe comes from Sanchaba Sulay Jobe (= Sukuta ) and has a master's degree in business administration from the University of Poona (India). From 1991 to 1996 he worked in the Department of Finance and Commerce before moving to the National Investment Promotion Authority and the Social Security and Housing Finance Corporation respectively . From 1998 until his current appointment as Minister General Manager of LAMFAM Enterprises in Gambia and Guinea-Bissau.

On March 15, 2019, in a minor cabinet reshuffle, he was appointed Minister of Trade, Regional Integration and Employment in the Adama Barrow cabinet , replacing Amadou Sanneh .
