Bai Lamin Jobe

Bai Lamin Jobe (* 20th century) is a politician in the West African state of Gambia . Since February 2017 he has been Minister of Works, Transport and Infrastructure in the Adama Barrow cabinet .

Life

Jobe is a civil engineer, he was general director of the state construction company Gamworks until there were differences in the management with the president Yahya Jammeh . He then worked at the World Bank . On February 22, 2017, the newly elected President Adama Barrow appointed Jobe to his cabinet as Minister of Construction , Transport and Infrastructure.

Awards and honors

The weekly magazine The Gambia News & Report named Jobe as General Manager of Gamworks 1998 Man of the Year ( Personality of the Year ).
