In 1991 the bathhouse was included in the Scottish Monuments List in the highest category A.

description

The exact time of construction is not known, so that only the middle to late 18th century can be given as the construction period. It is a one-story, elongated building built in the classical style with three vertical window axes along the long sides. The front door and window openings are decorated with pink, cream and green sandstone . The gable surfaces are worked as decorated triangular gables . The bathhouse has been on the Scottish List of Listed Buildings at Risk since 1995. Due to its location in the middle of a forest, the tree growth threatens the building fabric. Trees are now growing inside the building. The roof has collapsed. The overall condition is described as ruinous and the threat is classified as critical.
