Badiae

Badiae was an ancient place in the Numidia countryside of North Africa . It is recorded on the Tabula Peutingeriana and was located south of the Aurès at the site of today's Badès in Algeria . According to an inscription, Badiae was a Roman Municipium .

The titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church of the same name goes back to a late antique bishopric in Badiae .
