Golden ox
The Golden Ox is a prize of the Filmkunstfest Mecklenburg-Vorpommern , which has been awarded since 2002 for an outstanding contribution to German-language film culture. The sculpture for the prize comes from the artist Hartmut Klopsch from Leipzig. The award is presented by the Prime Minister of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and patron of the festival, currently Manuela Schwesig .
