Badminton-Sport is the official magazine publication in the badminton sport in Germany . It is the organ of the German Badminton Association (DBV) and is paid monthly by the publisher Meyer & Meyer from Aachen issued.

history

The first issue appeared in January 1953 in black and white in A5 format. Later the format was changed to A4 and colored elements were added to the layout. With the advent of Internet publications in the mid-1990s, sales became more and more sluggish and the magazine should be discontinued. With the Badminton magazine, published by Nils Klöpfel from Berlin, a follow-up publication was already in the starting blocks. In the end, however, the Meyer & Meyer publishing house had better ideas and continued production of the journal. With more than 60 years of age now, badminton sport is one of the longest regular badminton publications ever.
