The Bad Langensalza Station is a separation station in Bad Langensalza at the Gotha-Leinefelde railway and the branch line Kühnhausen bath Langensalza . The Bad Langensalza – Haussommern small train, which ran until 1970, used the Langensalza Süd station opposite the state train station.
The station is controlled by an electronic signal box. It has been equipped with point train control (PZB) since 2002.
There is a bus station near the train station.

The station is served every two hours by the RE 1 ( Göttingen - Glauchau (Sachs.)), RE 2 ( Kassel Wilhelmshöhe - Erfurt Hbf ) and RB 52 ( Leinefelde - Erfurt Hbf) and every hour by the RB 53 (Bad Langensalza) - Gotha ) served. All lines are operated by DB Regio .

The station building is empty (as of 2019) and is exposed to significant vandalism.
