The station Belsele is the breakpoint of Belsele , the suburbs of the Belgian city of Sint-Niklaas , and is located on the route 59 Antwerp-Berchem - Gent-Dampoort.
history
The station was opened in 1899 and was originally called Belsele-Noord to them by the then existing station Belsele-Dorp on the former route 56 Grembergen - to distinguish Sint-Niklaas. From the summer of 1957, the passenger trains between Sint-Niklaas and Gent were replaced by buses and trains no longer stopped in Belsele-Noord. In 1973, after the line was electrified, the stop was reopened and named Belsele. At that time, there were no longer any passenger trains on route 56.
