The Javel train station ( French : Gare de Javel ) is a station on the Paris RER rapid transit network . It has been served by the RER line C since 1979. It was opened by the Compagnie de l'Ouest for the commissioning of the Ligne des Invalides from Versailles to the Gare d'Orsay in 1900 . The route is located in this section in a cut, so that no level crossings are required. Originally the station was called Pont Mirabeau .

The station building was designed by the architect Juste Lisch . The station building was built at street level and is located above the tracks. There are stairs to each platform. The platforms are equipped with weather protection.

In 2016, the station was used by around 9,200 travelers every day.

The Javel - André Citroën metro station on line 10 is not directly linked to the station.
